The South West’s abundant rainfall and mild temperatures create ideal conditions for grass to flourish, allowing cows to graze outdoors longer. This results in milk rich in butterfat, perfect for cheese-making. Many of our collaborating farmers are family-run enterprises, adhering strictly to our stringent Davidstow Farm Standards, alongside the Red Tractor Assurance Scheme. Davidstow’s Classic cheddar, aged for a year, offers a perfectly harmonised, rich taste that lingers.
