Rocamadour Fermier Lait Cru AOP is a French cheese originating from the Périgord and Quercy regions, named after the commune of Rocamadour in the Lot. Obtaining an Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) in 1996, this cheese is part of the Cabécou category. It is a very fresh goat’s cheese, weighing only 35g, which can be enjoyed after maturing for 12 to 15 days, but develops more intense flavors after a few months. When young, it is often enjoyed on hot bread or in salads, while as it ages, it is enjoyed alone with a glass of red wine at the end of a meal.
